Its been clearly demonstrated that the bathroom is our least favorite place, in the home, to clean. The disturbing little tidbits you’ll likely find down your drain or in the bathtub are enough to make anyone steer clear of bathroom responsibilities. But, just as with anything else, it has to be cleaned. We would argue that the bathroom even needs more tender loving care then other parts of your home.
If you’re like most and dread this odious task, we have some excellent tips for you. The following seven cleaning tips are easy, quick, and are going to make your least favorite chore an absolute breeze.
1. Clean the MirrorThe bathroom mirror is quite often the recipient of unwanted dust, makeup and toothpaste, when we let this go to far, we can hardly see our face. Spraying cleaning products or water on paper towels tens to leave a streaky, blotchy, shine. As a result, try the following technique instead.
Use three bags of black tea and bring it to a boil in couple cups of water. Pour the tea into a spray bottle and use this to clean your mirror to a spotless shine. For best results, use newspaper instead of paper towels for a streak-free finish.

Staring at shower soap scum leaves us feeling sick. Yuck. Scrub the scum away by filling a dish want with half dish soap and half vinegar. This will bust through shower grime and leave your tub sparking in no time at all.
3. Clean Tooth Brush HoldersSimple enough. When that toothbrush holder is getting clogged up with soap scum and grime, don’t struggle to clean it. Simply toss it in the dishwasher and the technology do the work for you.
4. Remove Hard Water StainsUnsightly stains on metal hardware area always a problem. They’re not that easy to get rid of. Try scrubbing down the metal with a lemon. Yep, just a lemon. This all-natural trick will make your bathroom smell great and the acid in the citrus will break down any hard water stains.
If your not a big fan of lemon, try wrapping the metal in rags soaked with distilled white vinegar. The stains will eventually break down in a similar way and you get lemon juice in your eye.
Use a cleaning toothbrush to get in those hard to reach places, too!
5. Clean Your ToiletDid you know that white vinegar is your toilets’ best friend? It’s true! White vinegar kills germs, bacteria, mold, and makes scum vanish for a fresh, sparkling clean. Plus you can use it all over.
Pour vinegar in the top of your toilet and let that sit while you spray vinegar around the seat and clean.
6. Clean Your Toilet BrushSpeaking of unsanitary items, your toilet brush has a whole lot of germs and other undesirable habitants hanging around. You can probably guess why.
This is easily resolved by pouring a small amount of all-purpose cleaner in the bottom of the brush holder and letting it sit for a constant clean and lovely smell.
7. Clean Your Toilet BrushAnd finally as a bonus tip, which may not be bathroom oriented, but while you’re on a cleaning frenzy, you might as well clean out the dryer, too!
